Two West Yorkshire hospices have received a welcome financial start to the New Year, thanks to the Freemasons.

The Sue Ryder (Manorlands) Hospice, in Haworth, and the Marie Curie Hospice, in Bradford, have both received donations of £2,440 as part of the Masonic Charitable Foundation Hospice Grants for 2017.

The cheques were presented to representatives of both organisations by W Bro Alan Griffin, chairman of the Freemasons Province of Yorkshire West Riding’s Area 1 Provincial Charity Committee, and its deputy chairman, W Bro John Sharman.
