Tateshall Lodge No. 7645
W Bro. Roy Littlewood was born on the 24 March 1932, into the Littlewood Soft Drinks family and followed his father into that business. Later, after marrying Margaret, they ran a Country Club/Restaurant; Milford Hall, South Milford, Leeds for many years; well known to many Freemasons as the location of their annual Ladies night.

Roy was initiated into Tateshall Lodge on the 19th January, 1962 but became a joining member of The Saint Oswald Lodge 910, later moving on retirement to Scarborough returning to the area and Saint Oswald in 2004. He was also a Member of Saint Oswald Chapter. Roy was Master of the Lodge 1993 to 94 and remained an active Member as Chaplain until he was unable to do so owing to illness.

Roy was particularly supportive of new Brethren, always keen and willing to help, which made him highly regarded within Masonry, with many friends and he will be sadly missed.

He died peacefully at Connaught Court in York on the 7th May 2020.
