Ron was indeed the father of the lodge. He helped me with my ritual in the kindest way and was a very peaceful man. I will miss him enormously and will always remember him for his kindness.

When W. Bro Simon Wetherald and I have very fond memories of visiting Alfred Lodge on a regular basis. Ron always made us very welcome. He was a genuine man, and lovely company. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

Ron was Master of Alfred Lodge at the same time as I was Master of Harewood Lodge and we continued our friendship over the years. Ron, you will be greatly missed and happily remembered.
