Holme Valley Lodge No. 652
W Bro. John Timothy (Tim) Coy, PPGReg 22 March 1947 - 23 May 2020 Tim sadly passed away to the Grand Lodge above on 23rd May 2020, after a long but bravely fought illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Anthea and the family.

Tim was initiated into the Holme Valley Lodge, No. 652, on 18th October 1984 and became Master on 17th December 1999 and served as the Lodge’s Chaplain between 18th December 2008 to 14th December 2016.

He received his first Provincial on 17th May 2005 as PPJGD, finally being appoint to PPGReg on 16th December 2019.

Tim operated his own very successful business until his recent retirement, which incorporated being the NFU representative for the area for many years. A job he enjoyed and one in which he made many friends.

He will be sadly missed by the Lodge members and all that knew him.

Always made me feel very welcome at Holme Valley Lodge, never failing to take time out to speak and ask how my family are. My masonic experience has been all the richer for knowing him.

Tim was a close friend for over 20 years. We went through the chair in the same year. Ann and myself have had many happy holidays with Tim and Anthea. RIP dear friend

I would just like to say a big thank you for the support you have provided Dad over the years. He loved being in the lodge and he met some lovely people in this period of time. Big thank you for the massive support which was provided at Hade Hedge, on his last journey outside the Holme Valley. That memory will live with family for ever. I miss Dad so much. Such a massive people's person and great role model to look up to. We were all so proud of him when he received that special award at the beginning of the year and that special moment when he received his award. Dad cared so much for the community and he was loved by so many people. RIP DAD. ❤️🙏
