It is with great sadness that we report the passing of W Bro. Horace Harvey, Past Master of The Lodge of Hope 302.
Born on the 28th April 1961 and passed to The Grand Lodge Above on 14th April 2020. Initiated on the 4th October 2010, Horace immediately became an incredibly popular Mason both in our Province and the Manchester region. With his unique sense of humour and compassion, he touched the hearts of all that met him. Once met, never forgotten. He completed two terms as Master of The Lodge of Hope 302 and is sorely missed.

Such a nice genuine guy, it has been a pleasure to have known you. The world is a little less bright now you have passed

It was with great sadness that I learnt of the passing of W Bro. Horace. The first and only time that I met him was in December 2018 when I officiated at his Installation. The comments that others have placed on this page sum up all that was so very true about this much loved and respected Brother and I am so grateful for having had the opportunity of experiencing his warm and endearing personality, if even only for a few hours.

One of the most genuine, helpful, personable, and humble men it has been my privilege to know. Tragically taken from us long before his time Horace will always be remembered as someone who followed and epitomised all thats good about Masonry and it’s teachings.
